  • Brevoy – a nation in the north of the continent of Avistan. Once the kingdoms of Issia and Rostlan, united by Choral the Conquerer 200 years ago. Home to most of the party. Ruled until recently by House Rogarvia, Choral’s descendants, but the entire House disappeared overnight 10 years ago, throwing the kingdom into chaos. The kingdom is currently ruled by Noleski Surtova of Issia, but the Rostlanders don’t like this. It is the Rostlanders who sent the party south to the Stolen Lands to bolster their own political position. Major language is Common (Taldane).
  • Numeria – a barren harsh land ruled by the Black Sovereign west of Brevoy. The Rain of Stars littered Numeria with fragments of technology from outer space.
  • Torch – also known as Oleg’s Trading Post; a little town in the middle of nowhere, home to a giant purple flame good for forging sky metal

  • B: Scar of the Spider – contains lots of busted robots, big battle with lots of divine nature magic took place here
  • C: Hex of Bear Traps
  • D: where the hermit lives
  • E: contains a sabotaged deadfall trap and the grave of the Bear Trap Hunter

  • G: Radish Patch
  • H: giant spider lair
  • I – Contains hot springs, the source of the Skunk River
  • J – Contains a temple of Erastus
  • K: Kressle’s camp
  • L: Caves that might have kobolds in it. There’s a gold ore vein here! Good place to set up a mine eventually. We didn’t find any kobolds. There are no kobolds here.
  • M – source of saltpeter!
  • N – Special Resource
  • O – Nothing
  • P – Contains Tuskgutter’s lair
  • Q – contains a really really rickety bridge over the river; Thornfall
  • R: Giant sycamore tree, formerly the haunt of mites and giant centipedes.
  • S – Landmark – Ruins of a ferry (Nettles Crossing)

  • W: has fangberries here
  • X – contains a ford
  • Y: Kobold Lair – built inside an old silver mine
  • Z – Stag Lord
  • Hex 13 – nothing
  • A2 – Dryad
  • B2 – Nixie
  • C2 – Met some gnomes here
  • E2 – dire wolves here; well, there were
  • F2 – undead infested barrow
  • G2 – ancient elven keep, formerly infested with undead and fey
  • J2 – on the eastern side of the shore is an ancient hut, local hunters and trappers warned them not to go poking around there, because there’s an aggressive old crazy hermit lady, and she has some sort of animated scarecrows that chased them off.
  • K2 – has a beast den for a turtle creature
  • L2 – has a landmark major ford
  • O2 – Candlemere Tower (landmark); candlemere tower, some will-o-wisps were there, lots of odd carvings on it, they had a constant feeling of being watched, very uncomfortable
  • P2 – “the mud bowl” (dangerous); hot spring with bubbling mud and sulfur, 25 foot pool of mud, not hot enough to cause damage, and smells awful, fungus and giant mushrooms (may be creatures)
  • Q2 – the explorers had to run for their lives because they got chased by a leucrotta
  • U2 – Abandoned Ferry (landmark)
  • V2 – some sort of lair of a ferocious beast thing that the explorers didn’t want to get involved with
